My experience as Editor‑in‑Chief and Writer for Allegiance Arts & Entertainment gave me the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong goal to create high‑quality comic books with exceptional talent.

It was a rare privilege - one I never took for granted.

Largely in part because it gave me an excuse to rock a dramatic, albeit difficult‑to‑maintain, bad-ass Viking beard.

It also afforded me the opportunity to create promotional videos for the Norah’s Saga: Song of the Fossegrim campaign.

A NORSE SAGA

LET’S GET WYRD

Norah’s Saga: Song of the Fossegrim

The pitch: A whip-smart high school outcast crashes through the mists of time and into a realm of ice and Viking legend where she must channel her inner warrior to face the Norse gods standing between her and home.

This video draws from the six‑episode series illustrated byKelsey Shannon, whose bold and expressive artwork gave Norah’s Saga its distinctive signature aesthetic.

What is Wyrd? In Norse mythology, wyrd is the philosophy of fate, destiny, and personal accountability.

It describes an unbroken, reactive tapestry in which every past action, ancestral deed, and present choice feeds directly into the next, binding even the Norse gods as they move toward Ragnarok.

Who are the Wyrd Vikings?

Based in the Tampa Bay Area, The Wyrd Vikings are a historical preservation and reenactment society whose dedication to period-accurate Viking Age culture, craftsmanship and live-steel combat training brought a remarkable degree of texture and realism to the project.
