A ZOO STORY

Our mother saved everything. Truly, everything. She was good like that. Because of her, I still have the photo to the left.  It was shot on my Kodak Instamatic while on a first-grade field trip to The Bronx Zoo. First photo I ever took.  I was seven.  

I am grateful she saved this one. Mom was good like that.
