A ZOO STORY

Our mother saved everything. Truly, everything. She was good like that. Because of her, I still have the photo below.  It is the first one I ever took. It was shot with my Kodak Instamatic while on a first-grade field trip to The Bronx Zoo.

I am grateful she saved this one. Mom was good like that.
